While I treat many urologic conditions, I have advanced training in minimally-invasive robotic treatments of common urologic issues, such as prostate enlargement, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, and blockages of the ureters. I recognize the sensitive nature of many urologic conditions and always treat patients the way I want to be treated myself. I practice with an emphasis on providing the highest quality care while also providing the shortest recovery and best functional outcomes possible. For example, during prostate removal, my techniques are focused on quality nerve and muscle preservation to limit risks of surgery, such as erectile dysfunction or urinary incontinence. I find that this approach addresses many quality-of-life concerns.
My research efforts focus on kidney and prostate cancer, as well as prostate enlargement that leads to urinary symptoms in patients. I have a special interest in new technologies that allow me to improve the care I provide.
