I'm a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, also known as a physiatrist, here at Duke Health. I specialize in treating a wide range of spine and musculoskeletal conditions, particularly neck and back pain. Before joining Duke as an Interventional Spine Physiatrist, I proudly served as an Active-Duty Army physician for 21 years. My experiences heavily influences my approach today, emphasizing team-based care and non-opioid pain management strategies. In my practice, I offer minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. I have a strong clinical and research interest on using orthobiologics to help the body heal. I also have extensive experience using Stellate Ganglion Blocks (SGB) to support patients managing complex overlap of PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and chronic pain. My ultimate goal is to partner with the patient and build a comprehensive treatment plan, using rehabilitative therapies, careful medical management, and targeted procedures, to restore your function and quality of life.
