My Research InterestsMy primary research interests relate to improving health care outcomes with an emphasis on quality of care and health services. My major focus is on swallowing problems such as eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) and acid peptic disorders, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Barrett's esophagus. In particular, I am interested in combining our emerging understanding of disease with improved delivery of care. My ultimate goal is to advance the management patients by generating and synthesizing data to increase adherence to best practices and evidence-based medicine.
