I consider it a tremendous honor to support my patients throughout their breast cancer journey. When I meet with patients and their loved ones, I aim to provide a clear and comprehensive understanding of their diagnosis. I listen to their concerns and questions, and together we develop a multidisciplinary treatment plan that incorporates their goals with evidence-based practice and emerging research. I aim to equip my patients with the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate their cancer care comfortably moving forward. We have a wonderful team devoted to delivering the best possible care, every step of the way. As a breast cancer surgeon, I have clinical expertise in benign, high risk and malignant breast disease. I specialize in lumpectomies and breast conserving surgeries, skin-sparing or nipple sparing mastectomies, excisional biopsies, sentinel lymph node biopsies, and complete axillary lymph node dissections. I am actively involved in research aimed at improving breast cancer outcomes. I have done studies on various aspects of breast cancer surgery, recurrent breast cancer and benign, and malignant breast disease. I also have a special interest in young women with breast cancer. My work has been presented at national meetings and has been published in various journals. I maintain active membership in local and national societies, including the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Women Surgeons.
