My Research InterestsI am interested in translational research for refractive surgery, corneal disease, and cataracts. I am particularly interested in how engineering can be applied to improve outcomes in the developed and developing world. I will apply materials science and engineering to developing new materials and surgical techniques to restore and improve vision. I am also interested in corneal microstructure, microscopy, and connectomics. I am also interested in the biological basis for ROSAH syndrome, which I discovered during residency.
