I am a North Carolina native, growing up in the Foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and attending ASU for my bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology. I later went on to Winston-Salem State University for my master’s degree in physical therapy. I have a background in several sports including golf, tennis, rock climbing, Olympic weight-lifting and soccer. Recently, I have transitioned my own interests towards Ironman Triathlons, spending much of my time focusing on endurance training, while honing my clinical focus in preventing running- and cycling-related injuries. I became a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Specialist in 2018.
