Duke Children’s offers extensive specialty care options in family-friendly settings across four counties in North Carolina, giving patients access to the most advanced diagnosis and treatment options currently available. Patients also have frequent opportunities to join nationwide clinical trials as part of Duke’s ongoing efforts to improve diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.
New location on Creekstone Drive
Previously located at Brier Creek in Raleigh, Duke Children’s Specialty Services has relocated to Duke Health Center Creekstone in Durham. The clinic offers comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments in more than 20 specialties for children and young adults of all ages.
Duke specialists are nationally recognized experts in pediatric specialty services, participating in establishing guidelines for pediatric care and caring for patients using the latest diagnostic technologies, treatment options, and surgical techniques.
In addition, our dedicated care coordinators and social workers help patients navigate every aspect of their care, including appointment scheduling, insurance coverage, and access to family support resources.
Innovative treatment options
Duke’s extensive expertise allows specialists to treat the most complicated conditions with a variety of medical and surgical techniques. Techniques range from minimally invasive options that reduce the risk of complications and speed recovery, to delicate and highly specialized surgeries, many of which Duke pediatric surgeons have pioneered.
Duke is also one of 12 clinical sites across the U.S. participating in the NIH’s Undiagnosed Diseases Network, working to improve and accelerate diagnoses of rare and undiagnosed conditions. By referring patients to Duke Children’s, providers will be giving them access to the most advanced treatment options and clinical trial enrollment opportunities in the region.
