Duke Health contracts with most major health insurance carriers and transplant networks, including the ones listed below. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. We will contact you regarding your coverage and patient liability. If you are uninsured, learn more about our financial assistance policy.

My Locations
About Me
I was inspired to go into medicine by observing the relationships my father, a primary care physician, formed with his patients while growing up in Reading, Pennsylvania. I chose to specialize in heart failure and pulmonary hypertension early on in my medical training because I believe tailoring the right tools to the right patient can make an incredible difference in the lives of people with these conditions. In addition to work, I love spending time outdoors with my wife and our two daughters. Along with providing care at Duke locations, I am seeing patients at WakeMed Heart Center through Heart Care Plus+, the collaboration of heart care services from WakeMed and Duke Health.
Clinical Focus and Research
My research centers on tailoring treatments for pulmonary hypertension and heart failure.
